Bible Study

  • A variety of classes about the Bible, how we got the Bible, false books not in the Bible (Apocrypha), Church History, and World Relgions.
  • The class includes a handout with many blanks, pens, and clipboards so participants will not have to take many notes.
  • This is not a lecture! The class will be fun with much interaction.

  • Many of the classes above can be stretched or combined to fit your schedule (multiple weeks).

  • Many of the classes above can be adapted to fit youth groups.
  • For all students: the "10 Theological Questions" class. Many Christian youth are confused by ideas such as the Trinity. This class will give a clear explanation of this and other ideas that confuse youth.
    • For example, many youth believe that God the Father created Jesus, since they hear the language of Jesus being the Son of God repeatedly for years without fully understanding what that means.
  • I would suggest the Overview of the Old Testament and Overview of the New Testament classes for students who want to understand the Bible deeper.

  • Trinitas Bible Institute is a free online class that Dr. Nickens developed after teaching Bible and Church History for decades at the undergradutate level.
  • This is a perfect class for someone who wants to receive college-level teaching without having to write papers or take long tests.
    • The only requirements are to participate in discussions so you can share your thoughts and learn from others, plus simple quizzes that are open book and you can take as many times as you want to receive the grade you are happy with.
