- 25 double-spaced pages with 12 chapters.
Summary
- The main points of the biblical story of Job are present, but the details are completely reimagined. For example, Job is a king of Egypt, and his three friends are other kings. Job initially worships a pagan god but converts to worshipping the true God. Satan not only debates with God but also interacts with Job. Job's first wife died, and he remarried and had ten more children with her, apparently reflecting his first wife's punishment for doubting God and encouraging Job to curse God.
